Nottingham Forest have recalled striker Emile Sinclair from his loan spell with League Two Macclesfield Town.
The 21-year-old's one month loan had come to an end but Silkmen manager Keith Alexander had expressed a desire to extend the front-man's stay.
The Leeds-born youngster played six times in League Two, scoring once, but has not been allowed to return to the Moss Rose due to a shortage of strikers at the City Ground.
With Forest front-men Robert Earnshaw and Nathan Tyson both spending time on the sidelines recently, manager Billy Davies wants to ensure he has enough cover at his disposal in order to avoid relegation back to League One.
"We were very keen to extend the deal," Alexander said. "Emile did well for us and I am sure he will go on to be a very good footballer.
"But we move on and his departure is now an opportunity for someone else to come into the team and make the shirt their own."
