Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood has assured unsettled striker Neil Harris that he still has a future at the club.
The 29-year-old has endured two years to forget since moving to the City Ground from Millwall in December 2004.
Injuries, a falling out with former manager Gary Megson and a loan spell at Gillingham have all interrupted Harris' Forest career and the forward has now been linked with a possible return to The New Den.
He has never made any secret of his desire to rejoin the Lions one day and break the club's goalscoring record of 99 which he currently shares with Teddy Sheringham. He also still owns a home near the capital.
"Neil has a family situation with which to deal with and that could have a bearing," Calderwood said.
"But he is still part of our plans here."
