Nottingham Forest have allowed young striker Craig Westcarr to sign for Milton Keynes Dons on loan.
Westcarr has headed to The National Hockey Stadium for the rest of the season to build up his first team experience.
The 20-year-old has made just one appearance for Forest this season and has been given leave from the club's battle to stay in The Championship.
Instead, Westcarr will be involved in a relegation fight in League One as MK Dons look to avoid a second successive drop in divisions.
Westcarr's spell with MK Dons will be his second stint away from The City Ground this season after he scored once in six appearances for Lincoln City in January.
