Bristol City fixtures: Championship 2015/16

Bristol City will mark their return to the Sky Bet Championship with an opening day trip to Sheffield Wednesday on August 8.

Steve Cotterill's side were impressive winners of League One last season but they face a baptism of fire with a tough opening month of fixtures.

Play-off contenders Brentford will be the first visitors to Ashton Gate on August 15, followed by Leeds United, and the month ends with fixtures at Middlesbrough and home to relegated Burnley.

The Robins will face Cardiff City for the first time in south Wales on October 24 and host the Bluebirds on March 5 - their season ends at QPR on May 7.
