Bees trio set to buzz off

Brentford will release defender Karleigh Osborne and midfielders Marcus Bean and Sam Wood this summer.

The trio are coming to the end of their contracts, Osborne having turned down a new deal earlier this season, while boss Uwe Rosler is not offering new terms to Bean and Wood. Osborne, 24, came through the youth ranks at Griffin Park and made 194 appearances, helping the Bees to the League Two title in 2009. Bean, 27, joined from Blackpool in 2008 and played 168 times while 25-year-old Wood made 126 appearances but spent most of this season on loan with Rotherham. "All three have been committed to the club for a number of years and now they can explore other opportunities," Rosler told the club's official website. Rosler is still in talks with right-back Shaleum Logan over his future.
