Influential midfielder Marlon Pack has reassured Cheltenham fans that he intends to remain at Whaddon Road next season.

Pack, a summer signing from Portsmouth, has been in sparkling form this term and was nominated by his peers in the PFA League Two Team of the Year. His superb performances will have drawn the attention of clubs higher up the Football League pyramid but, with the Robins still on course for promotion via the play-offs, the 21-year-old has hinted that discussions may have begun regarding his immediate future. He told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I definitely expect to be around next season and certain things have been said, but I am grounded and I want to play week in, week out for Cheltenham. "I am fully focused on Cheltenham Town and gaining promotion. I am dedicated and committed to Cheltenham and I want to give my all to get into the play-offs and hopefully Wembley. To be in with a chance of promotion and the age of 21 at my first proper professional club is great. "I think me and Matty (Ritchie, who was at Pompey with Pack and won promotion from League Two this season with Swindon) have both proved ourselves this season and bounced back well from leaving Portsmouth. It'd be nice to be playing against him in League One for Cheltenham next season."
