Sky Sports understands that Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock are in talks with ex-Bristol City midfielder Lee Johnson.
The 30-year-old has been looking for a new club since leaving the Robins by mutual consent on transfer deadline day after falling out of the first-team picture at Ashton Gate.
Johnson spent much of the first half of the campaign with League One Chesterfield, making 11 league starts during a three-month loan.
He had been linked with a return to Yeovil and work under his father Gary last month, a move he felt was 'not right for his career'.
The experienced playmaker has played north of the border before during a six-month spell with Hearts and now looks poised to try his luck in the SPL once more.
