Rosler stands firm on Osbourne

Brentford manager Uwe Rosler insists Karleigh Osborne will not be sold on the cheap.

The defender has been strongly linked with Championship outfit Reading over the course of the past fortnight and Royals boss Brian McDermott has publicly admitted his admiration of the 23-year-old. Osborne's contract at Griffin Park expires this summer and he has so far refused to sign a new deal, but Rosler stressed Brentford would not be forced into offloading the centre-back at a reduced price. "We will wait and see whether we do a deal or not, but it has to be to the benefit of this football club," he told the Richmond and Twickenham Times. "There is a strong interest from Reading, but as far as I am aware they are the only one."
