Cotterill would like to sign full-back on a permanent basis

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill has admitted he would like to sign loanee Greg Cunningham on a permanent basis if the club can find the money in the future. The Manchester City youngster on Thursday extended his stay at the Championship strugglers until the end of the season. Cotterill has already spoken of his delight at keeping Cunningham until May and if cash-strapped Forest can find the finances, he would want to strike a deal for the full-back. "We are really, really pleased with Greg," said the Forest boss in the Nottingham Post. "If there was a time when there was enough money to do it, he is one that you would love to have at your club permanently. "That is not on the horizon at the minute, but he is a credit to Manchester City."
