Full-back keen to play regular first-team football

Leicester City have snapped up Manchester City full-back Greg Cunningham on a loan deal until January. Cunningham becomes Sven-Goran Eriksson's fourth signing since the former Man City boss took charge at the Walkers Stadium. The 19-year-old's sole appearance for City this season came in the Carling Cup and the Republic of Ireland international is looking forward to playing for Leicester. "It will be a great chance for me to hopefully get some first-team football, to continue my football education and work under another top-class coach in Sven-Goran Eriksson," Cunningham told Man City's official website. "Leicester seem to be coming into form just now. They won at Leeds on Tuesday night and are climbing the table. "I hope I get the chance to help them continue that rise up the Championship table." Cunningham follows Kyle Naughton, Curtis Davies and Darius Vassell in joining the Foxes since Eriksson replaced Paulo Sousa as manager.
