Bristol City came from behind to beat Leyton Orient 3-1, while Brighton also progressed to the third round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a 4-1 victory over Milton Keynes Dons.

Leyton Orient, currently languishing at the bottom of League One, held Bristol City for the first half at the Matchroom Stadium.

They briefly looked like upsetting the form book when Derek Duncan netted after 63 minutes, but The Robins came roaring back with goals from Barry Corr (71), Phil Jevons (80) and Richard Keogh (90).

Brighton were always in control against League Two side MK Dons, and took the lead through Dean Cox after 14 minutes.

Alex Revell then bagged a brace (37 and 82), before Sam Page pulled one back for Martin Allen's side.

However, Dean Hammond (pictured) netted three minutes from time to seal an emphatic win for Brighton.
