Brentford have handed defender Matt Heywood a two-year deal after he impressed during a loan spell.
The 26-year-old joined The Bees at the beginning of the season on a one-month loan from Bristol City.
Heywood has started all three games for the League One outfit, prompting Leroy Rosenior to hand him a two-year deal at Griffin Park.
Brentford have paid an undisclosed fee to The Robins for Heywood's services after the stopper impressed Rosenior during his short time at the club.
"Matt has a maturity beyond his years and his presence will help with the development of our younger players," Rosenior told the club's official website.
"He has signed for us for less wages than that he was receiving at Bristol City as he feels that there is a lot that can be achieved with us."
Meanwhile, Brentford youngster Karle Carder-Andrews has penned professional terms at the club.
The 17-year-old has been promoted to Rosenior's first team from the club's youth set-up.
"He is a young man with a lot of talent," Rosenior added.
"I'm delighted he's started his full time career with Brentford and I hope he enjoys a long and fruitful career with us".
