Oxford have allowed Jon Ashton and Mark E'Beyer to train with other clubs.
Neither player has featured much under Jim Smith since he took charge at The Kassam Stadium and now they are trying their luck elsewhere.
Midfielder E'Beyer is currently with Northampton, while Ashton is trying his luck at Bristol City.
Former Derby and Leicester star Lee Morris is also at Ashton Gate as he too looks for a new club.
