Bristol City have been dealt a blow by the news that both Aaron Brown and Mickey Bell are facing at least three weeks on the sidelines after picking up injuries in Tuesday's 3-0 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers.

Brown picked up a hamstring injury in the loss at Adams Park while Bell suffered ankle ligament damage after landing awkwardly in the match versus The Chairboys.

With Tommy Doherty and Danny Coles facing bans after picking up red cards against John Gorman's side, it looks like the Wycombe defeat is proving costly in the short-term for Robins boss Danny Wilson.

With Brown and Bell on the sidelines, Wilson needs cover on the left side of his backline and midfield for Saturday's key match at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

"I have one or two things in mind, which we will look at in training," Wilson told the club's official website.

"It's a blow losing Aaron and Mickey at the same time, but it's up to other players to grasp the opportunity."
