BRISTOL CITY are assessing the possibility of bringing Estoril's Hugo Evora to Ashton Gate on a free transfer.
The 21-year-old defender is being analysed during a friendly with Swansea City, with Danny Wilson viewing the Portuguese youngster as a possible future first-teamer.
"It's an ideal chance to have a look at Hugo," Wilson told City's official website.
"He would probably be more of a signing for the future, if we decided to take things further, but I'm told he has the potential to be a very good player."
Experienced striker Peter Beadle was unavailable for the match with Swansea as he has still to recover from a knee problem.
