Scunthorpe have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Neal Bishop from Blackpool.
Bishop has put pen to paper on a two-year deal following his release by the Seasiders, who decided against exercising the option on his contract. The 32-year-old former Notts County and Barnet skipper becomes the Iron's second new arrival since their promotion to League One, following Jennison Myrie-Williams to Glanford Park. Bishop will join up with his new team-mates for the first time on June 24 when all the players report for a testing day before pre-season commences on July 3.
