Nathan Ellington is under no illusions that Scunthorpe must improve their displays if they are to move out of the drop zone.
The Iron are currently 23rd in the table following Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Doncaster, their eighth loss in their last 13 games.
Ellington was handed his first start for Brian Laws' team at the Keepmoat and he admits all the players share the blame for the heavy defeat.
He told the club's official website: "It was a bit of an under-par performance from all of us, really.
"We know that we need to play a lot better than that to get anything out of any game.
"We didn't do ourselves any favours. We just need to minimise mistakes and make the opposition make the mistakes."
