Scunthorpe winger Mark Duffy admits the weekend defeat at Huddersfield took the shine off the club's survival in League One.
The Iron went into their game at the Galpharm Stadium seven points clear of the relegation zone with three games to play and despite losing 1-0 after hitting the woodwork three times, results elsewhere ensured Scunthorpe's safety.
"We're happy in one way, but obviously the way we played we'd have liked to have gotten a little bit more out of the game," Duffy told the club's official website.
"When we went into the dressing rooms we found out we were safe, so it was a little bit of a better feeling. But as I say, with the performance and not getting the points, that's the disappointing thing."
