Torquay goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik has signed an extension to his contract at Plainmoor.

The Austrian stopper has been in sensational form this season, keeping 14 clean sheets as the Gulls have soared into the automatic promotion places in League Two. And Olejnik has been rewarded with an improved deal in Devon, which will see the 25-year-old remain with the club until 2014, much to the delight of Torquay manager Martin Ling. "I have repeatedly said that I've not seen a better goalkeeper in League Two and Bobby's form has not dipped all season," said Ling. "We are building something special here at Torquay and a good goalkeeper is often the foundation for success in any team, and we have a very good one. "Aside from his assurance as a goalkeeper, Bobby is also a terrific character to have around and a positive influence on everyone at the club."
