Kee set for Brewers absence

Burton's top scorer Billy Kee looks set to miss the long journey to face Plymouth in League Two after injuring his groin.

The 21-year-old striker missed Friday evening's 2-0 home defeat to Accrington after aggravating a recurring groin injury in December. Kee has managed to score 12 goals since arriving at the Pirelli Stadium from Torquay in the summer, despite struggling with the problem for over two months. But the 480-mile round trip to Home Park could prove a bridge too far for the young forward. Brewers manager Paul Peschisolido told the Burton Mail: "Billy has tweaked something in his groin again, but we think it is only a short-term problem. "He needs a bit of treatment and rest, so it doesn't look as though he will be with us at Plymouth and possibly the game at Bradford the following weekend."
