Iron progress impressive - Knill

Scunthorpe manager Alan Knill is happy with the way things are progressing at Glanford Park, after his side's 2-2 draw with Huddersfield.

Knill's Iron struggled early in the season, taking 10 matches to find their first win in League One. But since beating Yeovil on September 24, Scunthorpe have lost just once in five outings in the league. And Knill, who described Huddersfield as the best team in League One, was pleased with a point against the high-flying Terriers after goals from Oliver Norwood and Chris Dagnall cancelled out strikes from Jordan Rhodes and Tommy Miller for the visitors. "I believe that we are moving in the right direction," he said. "That is nine draws we have had already this season - I have never had that many before. "Once or twice we have let ourselves down, but in most of those games we have had a chance to win them. "It's frustrating that we haven't but we have some good players at this club and if they can continue to show this level of commitment, I am sure results will turn for us."
