Scunthorpe United have completed the signing of Doncaster midfielder David Mulligan.
The 24-year-old has penned a two-year deal at Glanford Park after failing to agree fresh terms at Belle Vue.
Iron chief Brian Laws was pleased to have sealed the New Zealand international's signature.
"He is very versatile, he can play right back, left back, left wing, right wing and centre midfield. That will be a great strength to this football club," said Laws.
"He is two footed, has great delivery from set pieces, and can get a goal as well.
"There were a number of clubs trying to sign him and we had quite a bit of opposition to secure his services.
"The deal was made more difficult as he is away on international duty in Germany."
