League Two round-up

Scunthorpe drew 2-2 with Macclesfield in the top of the table clash at the Moss Rose.

Scunthorpe and Macclesfield shared the points with a 2-2 draw which keeps Bristol Rovers at the top of League Two.

Matthew Sparrow put Scunthorpe ahead on the half hour before Paul Harsley equalised on the stroke of half time. Paul Hayes put Scunthorpe back in front but Matthew Tipton equalised with a 71st minute penalty.

Yeovil move third as they beat Rushden & Diamonds 3-1 with goals from Lee Johnson, Barosz Tarachulski and Phil Jevons' fourth goal of the season. Gary Mills scored a consolation for Rushden.

Nathan Tyson's 2lst minute goal got Wycombe on their way as they won away at Kidderminster. Shahed Ahmed sealed the win in the 86th minute. The Wanderers climb to fifth.

Wayne Carlisle got a brace as Leyton Orient drew at Northampton. His sixth minute goal was equalised by Northampton's Marc Richards, but Carlisle restored Orient's lead on the hour mark. Scott McGleish equalised for Northampton shortly afterwards.

Oxford beat Shrewsbury 2-0 and move up to sixth. High tempo starts in both halves won the game for Oxford. Lee Bradbury scored after three minutes of the first half, and Tommy Mooney scored three minutes after the break.

Bury came out on top in the local derby winning 3-0 away at Rochdale. Dwayne Mattis, Danny Swailes and David Nugent got the goals that move Bury up to eighth.

Grimsby beat Mansfield 2-0 with a fifth minute strike from Thomas Pinault and Jason Crowe's late goal. Grimsby move up to ninth place.

It was a miserable start for new Chester manager Ian Rush as Darlington won 3-0 with goals from Neil Wainwright, Joe Kendrick and Matthew Clarke. Chester remain bottom whilst Darlington go 10th.

Swansea won away at Cambridge 1-0 thanks to a first half goal from Lee Trundle. The Welsh side move ahead of Leyton Orient.

Cheltenham beat Boston 1-0 with a 57th minute strike from Jamie Victory. Cheltenham leapfrog Rushden in the table.

Notts County won away at Lincoln with a double from Tony Scully. Lincoln got a late consolation through Greg Pearson.
