Two high-flying League One managers will join Jeff Stelling’s team for this week’s Soccer Saturday.

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson and Notts County chief Shaun Derry will be on set to talk about their sides’ promising starts to the campaign and to see what transpires in the afternoon’s League One games.

The Dons are fourth in the third tier and have also recorded a stunning 4-0 Capital One Cup win over Manchester United, while County, who were heavily involved in the relegation scrap last term, are eighth and unbeaten since August.

Robinson and Derry’s charges are not in action on Saturday so the managers will be able to assess how their rivals get on, with clashes including leaders Bristol City up against Chesterfield and third-placed Peterborough’s trip to Crawley.

Karl and Shaun will be joined in the studio by Iain Dowie and Neil Mellor, who, along with Jeff and his band of roving reporters, will keep you bang up to date with all the afternoon’s goal news in the Football League and beyond.

However, before the majority of the games kick off at 3pm, we will bring you interviews from within the Bury, Leyton Orient and Bristol City camps:

Johnny Phillips speaks to Bury’s chairman Stewart Day, manager David Flitcroft and captain Jim McNulty about the Shakers’ rise to the summit of League Two. Read a brief taste here.

Bianca Westwood catches up with Leyton Orient’s caretaker boss Kevin Nugent and midfielder Romain Vincelot to discuss the Londoners' headline-making season so far

Dickie Davis gets the lowdown on in-form Bristol City, who have scored 22 goals in their 11 League One matches, from Ashton Gate gaffer Steve Cotterill
