Port Vale manager Rob Page is hoping to appointment a new assistant manager and goalkeeper coach within the next few weeks.

Page, who recently signed a two-year contract extension to keep him at the club until 2017, saw his goalkeeping coach Mark Grew depart the club after a 25-year association with the League One club. Speaking to the club's official website, Page said: "Roles will change and that is regards to the coaching staff as well. "When I took over I couldn't bring any staff in, the budget was spent and I couldn't bring any staff in, but that is going to change. "Roles and responsibilities are going to change within the club and there will be more announcements within the next couple of weeks. "I will be bringing in somebody who has got a wealth of experience within that field of coaching, and that will be somebody as an assistant I can lean on."
