Captain Hayden Mullins is one of nine players released by Notts County following relegation to League Two.
The 36-year-old former Crystal Palace, West Ham, Portsmouth, Reading and Birmingham midfielder made 51 appearances for the Magpies, scoring once. He joins Mustapha Dumbuya, Fabian Spiess, Greg Tempest, Cieron Keane, Brad McGowan, Drissa Traore, Elliot Whitehouse and Shaun Harrad in leaving Meadow Lane. But experienced duo Roy Carroll and Alan Smith have agreed new one-year deals while the club are still negotiating with Balint Bajner, Garry Thompson and Gary Jones. Jordan Richard and Lartey Sarpong have also been offered new deals and the Magpies are in talks with Kevin Pilkington and Mike Edwards.
