Crewe Alexandra defender Harry Davis has signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract with the club.
Davis existing deal was due to expire in the summer but the 23-year-old will now remain at Gresty Road until the summer of 2017. Davis came up through the youth system at Alex and broke into the first team during the 2009/10 season, making his first appearance on the final day of the campaign. Since then he has gone on to play over 140 games for Crewe and has been stand-in captain this season in the absence of Matt Tootle.
