Scunthorpe have made a bid to sign right-back Richard Brindley from Championship side Rotherham.
The 21-year-old recently enjoyed a loan spell at Glanford Park, where he made three appearances before being recalled to play for the Millers in their 5-1 FA Cup defeat to Bournemouth, where he scored the opening goal. However, with several other League One clubs rumoured to be interested in the former Norwich man, the Millers have yet to accept the offer.
