Oldham have signed veteran goalkeeper Paddy Kenny on a loan deal from Bolton until January 5.
The 36-year-old made over 600 first-team appearances for clubs such as Bury, Sheffield United, QPR and Leeds before joining Wanderers in September. After failing to see any action with the Sky Bet Championship outfit, Kenny will now compete with Paul Rachubka and Neil Etheridge at Boundary Park. Latics boss Lee Johnson told the club website: "Paddy is coming in to add quality and experience to the squad. He goes straight into the squad for Saturday's game with Rochdale."
