Matty Done will serve a three-game ban following Rochdale's unsuccessful appeal against his dismissal against Doncaster last weekend.
Done was shown a straight red card by referee Jeremy Simpson for his challenge on James Coppinger early in the second half of Saturday's 3-1 defeat and Dale subsequently failed to get the decision rescinded. The 26-year-old sat out Tuesday night's 2-2 draw at MK Dons and will miss Saturday's home derby clash against Oldham and the second-round FA Cup tie at Aldershot on Sunday, December 7.
