Price is right for Crawley

Crawley Town have signed goalkeeper Lewis Price on loan from Crystal Palace until December 21.

The 30-year-old has picked up 11 international caps for Wales and played for his country when the Dragons beat Scotland 2-1 in an October 2012 World Cup qualifier. The former Ipswich star has had limited opportunities at club level since joining the Eagles in July 2010, but did have a spell with Mansfield at the end of last season. The 6ft 3in shot-stopper told the Crawley website: "I'm delighted to be here. I have played here before in friendlies for Palace and I know quite a few of the lads from various other clubs, so that's helped me settle in. "It's tough at Palace with Jules (Julian Speroni) and Wayne Hennessey, who are two outstanding goalkeepers, there. I need to go and get games and this is a fantastic opportunity for me and one I am really looking forward to."
