MK Dons manager Karl Robinson was proud of his threadbare squad after they battled to a hard-earned 0-0 draw against Preston.
It was a physical battle on a night where both teams struggled to get to grips with the poor playing surface as stadium:mk, and a draw was a fair result in the end
The main concern for Dons though was injuries to Samir Carruthers and Lee Hodson, with the former suffering a knee injury. It is unclear how long either player will be out.
"The boys are pulling miracles out of their hats," said Robinson after the goalless stalemate.
"The players deserve a tremendous mention and as a fan, your players have been magnificent. I thought we had the better of the chances.
"We've a very skeleton squad with young lads like Harry Hickford, Giorgio Rasulo, George Baldock on the bench and Dele Alli starting, which shows we're short of bodies.
"Then we lose Samir and Lee and I've got nothing left, so I'm really proud of the players - I could ask for no more."
