Wolves manager Kenny Jackett admitted he was frustrated following their 1-1 Molineux stalemate against promotion rivals Leyton Orient.
Right-back Ethan Ebanks-Landell gave Wolves the perfect start after just five minutes. But they then squandered a hatful of chances and Mattieu Baudry made them pay by equalising on the hour-mark with Orient's first shot on target. The stalemate saw Wolves slip to third with Brentford leapfrogging them and Orient. Jackett said: "I felt that we got ourselves into a lot of very good situations and had a lot of chances against a very resolute Orient side who made it tough for us. "We needed that second goal. We had big chances and it didn't quite come. "We were looking for that little bit of magic and spark to break the deadlock. "So there is frustration and some disappointment at a good performance and not winning. "But from my point of view we are in a good position and we have to capitalise on it and try and set the target of playing with that type of quality and intensity and work rate in all of the games and also recognise what we did well in this game. "In terms of performance our challenge is to replicate that because if we do we will certainly win many more games than we lose. "As an overall we have played 23 games, half way through the season, and we have 48 points. "Our challenge as a club now is to make sure that we replicate that in the second-half of the season. We have to take heart from the first half of the season and the points total. "But it is also imperative that we don't stand still and that we keep progressing." Orient fell behind when they paid the price for leaving Ebanks-Landell in acres of space on the wing. Kevin McDonald fed him the perfect pass and Ebanks-Landell let fly with a powerful drive from the edge of the area that whistled past goalkeeper Jake Larkins at his near post. Wolves should then have turned that advantage into a commanding lead before half-time only for Jake Cassidy to squander two excellent opportunities before Michael Jacobs saw his goalbound shot blocked by Baudry. James Henry then fired narrowly wide at the start of the second-half and McDonald was denied by Larkins before their failings came back to haunt them. Moses Odubajo whipped a right-wing centre across the face of the Wolves goal and Baudry had the simple chance of stabbing the ball home at the far post.
