Port Vale have allowed Kaid Mohamed to join League Two club AFC Wimbledon on loan until the new year.
The 29-year-old winger has struggled to break into Micky Adams' plans this season, last appearing in the 1-1 draw with Bristol City at the start of October.
Mohamed will remain with the Dons until January 4.
Adams told the club's official website: "Kaid will be going to get some first-team football.
"We hope that when he comes back he is fit and refreshed and ready to fight for his place at Port Vale.
"We look forward to getting him back after this experience."
