Stevenage midfielder Jimmy Smith hopes to face former club Leyton Orient at Broadhall Way on Saturday.
Smith recently shook off a knock picked up in pre-season and could make his first Boro appearance against the side he left over the summer.
"I'm looking forward to it. Wemassively need the three points and what a great way to get them than up against your old team as well," he told the club website.
"I enjoyed my time there but times move on, I'm here now and all I'm focused on is doing well at Stevenage.
"It was disappointing to pick up the injury in La Manga. I didn't have any pre-season games under my belt but I've been working hard, doing double sessions every day so I feel good and I'm ready when the gaffer needs me.
"An appearance on Saturday would be great but I want the win as well."
