Crewe chairman John Bowler was honoured with a Service to Football Award at the League Managers Association annual awards dinner.
Long-serving Bowler, who has been at the club for 26 years, was recognised for his services to the game at the glittering show in London. Former Alex boss Dario Gradi, on Crewe's board of directors along with Bowler, himself earned a Special Achievement Award from the LMA in 2007.
