Sky Sports understands Zoumana Bakayogo will take his time before deciding on his next move after seeing out his contract at Tranmere Rovers.
The left-back is currently mulling over offers from the Championship and League One but is not rushing a choice on his future.
Bakayogo, who joined Tranmere in 2009, is planning to spend some time with his family while he makes up his mind.
And the former Paris Saint-Germain, Millwall and Brighton & Hove Albion player will then make a decision.
James Cross of McHale Sports confirmed: "Zoumana will go away for a few days with his family before heading back to the UK to make his decision."
