Turner expresses Wright fear

Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner has confirmed winger Mark Wright is expected to miss the rest of the season through injury.

Wright has recently returned to the first team after four months on the sidelines with a knee problem but a hip injury suffered in training will once more keep him out of action. With only four league games remaining, Turner is now resigned to having to make do without the former Walsall man until next term. He told the Express & Star: "It looks like it is going to be another four or five days before he can start training with the rest of the squad again. "The fear is that he won't play again this season. The season is over two weeks on Saturday. "There is a chance he might make an appearance in the last one or two first-team games but it's looking doubtful."
