Scunthorpe striker Connor Jennings has extended his loan spell at Blue Square Bet Premier side Stockport for a further month.

The 21-year-old has scored six goals in 10 appearances for County since joining in November, including a hat-trick on his debut in the FA Trophy victory over Ossett Town. United boss Brian Laws wants to see the youngster make the most of his opportunity. "We will be allowing him to stay out for a further 30-odd days to max out his loan period there," Laws told the Iron's official website. "It gives him great chances to keep on playing games and scoring goals and I don't really want to pull him back unless I'm going to shove him in the team. "I think it's best that he stays where he is, he's getting games and we can keep an eye on him knowing that he'll be coming back in February and we might have a fit player to give us the final push." Meanwhile, Laws has confirmed that Matt Godden will not be returning to Ebbsfleet on loan. Laws added: "Ebbsfleet were after Matty Godden again but we've said we can't because we need four strikers at the football club."
