Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are tracking Hyde defender Luke Ashworth.
Centre-half Ashworth has impressed at Hyde since his arrival from Halifax in the summer and his performances have not gone unnoticed higher up the football pyramid.
The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Wigan Athletic, but never made a first-team appearance for the Latics.
Ashworth also enjoyed spells at Leyton Orient and Rotherham before linking up with Hyde and he has been a virtual ever-present this season.
Several League One and League Two clubs have been checking on Ashworth this season and Hyde are bracing themselves for bids for the defender in the January transfer window.
