Moore wants fans' patience

Manager Ronnie Moore asked Tranmere fans to remain patient after his side were booed off following Tuesday's 0-0 draw at home to Walsall.

Rovers have failed to win any of their last four games at Prenton Park but are still two points clear at the top of the League One table. With promotion rivals Sheffield United only able to draw 3-3 at home against Crewe, Moore was not impressed with his side's treatment at the final whistle. Moore said: "We're all disappointed we didn't win the game, and I don't want to harp on about supporters because they've been fantastic all season. "They get frustrated and if I'd have paid to watch, I might have given a boo here and there, but then gone home and thought they've done well those lads, did I really need to boo them? "At the end of the day, it's a point and it's not that easy, shown by the fact none of the top seven have won."
