MK Dons boss Karl Robinson was adamant his side should have had a penalty towards the end of their goalless draw at Preston.
The Dons were denied what Robinson felt was a clear spot-kick six minutes from time when Preston keeper Thorsten Stuckmann appeared to clip striker Charlie MacDonald. Robinson also accused opposite number Graham Westley and his coaching staff of trying to get MacDonald booked for diving in the immediate aftermath of the incident. "How can that not be a penalty? The referee obviously thought it was because he looked to his assistant referee and he's kept his flag down," he said. "I'm sure they'll know they got it wrong. The Football League and the PGMO are really supportive of moving forward as a group of referees but unfortunately they got that one wrong. "What I've never seen is coaching staff running five yards waving imaginary cards in the fourth official's face. Gamesmanship, sportsmanship, class - that is not good gamesmanship from Preston's coaching staff."
