Curle looks to the positives

Notts County boss Keith Curle refused to be too downcast after the 1-0 defeat by League One leaders Tranmere on Saturday.

A 22nd-minute goal by substitute Joe Thompson sealed the win for Rovers. But Curle felt his side should have been playing 10 men in the second half after a poor challenge by Tranmere's Ash Taylor on his keeper Bartosz Bialkowski. He said: "You look at the challenge and ask is it reckless, was it trying to endanger an opponent? I think it ticks those boxes, although I'm not going to go on about refereeing decisions." Curle added: "We've had a look at the team at the top of the table and Stevenage in second and the pleasing thing is there is not a lot of distance between us."
