Johnson targets more loan help

Yeovil manager Gary Johnson is keen to bolster his squad and has his sights set on a third loan signing in as many weeks.

The Glovers, who have now lost their last four in the league, have seen Korey Smith arrive from Norwich, while Bristol City's Joe Edwards returned for a second spell at Huish Park this season. But Chelsea loanee Rohan Ince is likely to be recalled by his parent club due to injury. "I won't be thinking about him (Ince) for a little while but I will be having a chat with Chelsea to see what they want to do," Johnson told the Western Gazette. "Someone has got to get over their injury and that is why I brought Joe (Edwards) in for an extra number and I now have to bring another in this week for an extra number." On the prospect of securing Edwards' services on a more long-term basis, Johnson added: "City are willing to give him to us for three months but with 28 days at a time. If they have a major injury then at least after 28 days they have that option to bring him back."
