Curle hails 'Championship' duo

Notts County manager Keith Curle praised the performances of Yoann Arquin and Alan Judge as his side overcame Portsmouth 3-0.

Midfield maestro Judge was at the heart of everything the home side created and had a hand in all three County goals in the League One clash at Meadow Lane on Saturday. Arquin struck after just five minutes to put County ahead, before a terrific 30-yard shot from Judge and another Arquin strike sealed the three points. And County boss Curle admitted his star man Judge is a championship player after a scintillating individual performance. He said: "He's an excellent player - he has bought in to what my staff and I are trying to here. He's got that willingness, that devilment in his play. He knows how to hurt the opposition and plays one and two touch football and I honestly believe he is a Championship footballer. "Yoann was great as well. We are trying to take that frustration out of his mentality as he is a player that if things don't go well he can be reactive. We are trying to curb that and it's coming to fruition. I also believe he is a Championship player."
