MK Dons manager Karl Robinson felt his side dropped two points in their 1-1 home draw against Notts County in League One on Tuesday night.
Substitute James O'Shea earned the hosts a point after Neal Bishop had given the Magpies a first-half lead.
Robinson felt his team should have done enough to win the game, but blamed himself for their sluggish start.
He said: "Maybe I got the team wrong in the first half. I think the boys got me out of trouble in the second half - I made changes and they responded fantastically well.
"I'm not happy with a point. It's frustrating that we couldn't go on and win it.
"We had a gameplan. It nullified some of their strengths and we looked comfortable but didn't have a cutting edge."
