Striker Andy Williams has urged his Swindon team-mates to regroup this week and come out firing at Carlisle on Saturday.

Town opened the season on a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions, which included triumphs over Crawley and MK Dons in League One and memorable victories against Brighton and Stoke in the Capital One Cup.

But three successive defeats in the space of six days have brought all at the County Ground crashing back down to earth, with Saturday's 1-0 reverse to Leyton Orient ending an unbeaten home record which stretched back over a year.

And summer signing Williams wants Town to use the welcome respite over the coming days to get back on track.

"Saturday was very disappointing as in midweek," he told the club's official website. "I don't think we really did enough in the game, we were a bit disappointing on the ball and off it. The lads weren't at the races and that's two or three games in a row now the lads haven't done what we know we can do.

"After the good start we had we need to regroup, have a little think, everyone has to have a good look at themselves and hopefully put it right for Saturday up at Carlisle."
