Stevenage midfielder Robin Shroot is eyeing another promotion bid this season after making the play-offs last term.
Boro are up to third in League One after goals from Shroot and Marcus Haber secured a 2-1 win at Coventry on Sunday.
The Hertfordshire side previously won back-to-back promotions from the Conference and League Two, and almost made it a hat-trick last season until they were beaten by Sheffield United in the play-offs.
And Shroot said: "We're up to third, joint second, and we are capable of getting up there and staying up there.
"I don't see why we can't carry the run on and maintain a steady push for promotion."
