Sky Sports understands Swindon Town have made a move to land Nicky Ajose from Peterborough United.
Ajose has only just joined Crawley Town on-loan, but he has impressed at the Broadfield Stadium.
He scored the winning goal as Crawley dumped Bolton Wanderers out the League Cup last week, but now his time at the Red Devils could be coming to a quick end.
Town boss Paolo di Canio is looking to bolster his squad on deadline day with a number of new arrivals and one of those could be Ajose.
