Sky Sports understands that Crawley Town have made an offer for Bury winger David Worrall.

Crawley boss Richie Barker is keen to raid his old club for Worrall as he is a big admirer of the player from working with him at Gigg Lane.

The 22 year old, who can play on both flanks, was Bury's star player last season, winning the Player of the Year award and attracting the attention of a number of Championship clubs.

The former West Brom man is believed to be open to a move away from Gigg Lane, and has been linked with Blackburn Rovers and Burnley in recent months.

Worrall has made over 100 appearances for the Shakers and was previously on the books of West Brom, making his first-team debut in the League Cup, aged 17.
